Temporary Mask Mandate For Employees in St. Johns County Schools




Starting tomorrow, August 25th, 2021 all school employees and visitors to St. Johns County schools will have to wear masks or face shields  for the next 30 days until September 23rd.

According to a letter sent to parents today from St. Johns County Schools Superintendent Tim Forson, the school district has declared that "Due to the rate of positive cases that are coming into school, the St. Johns County School District is mandating face masks or face shields for all employees and visitors for the next 30 days."


This is a temporary mask mandate, and it does not apply to students.
