Rashard Hall Named to NFL Advisory Committee - West Augustine Success

Rashard Hall NFL Advisory Committee

Rashard Hall has been named to the 2021 College Football Administrator Committee by the NFL.

Hall grew up in West Augustine, attended Murray Middle School, Sebastian Middle School, and graduated from St. Augustine High School, where he was named St. Johns County Defensive Player of the Year. He played football at Clemson University, in South Carolina graduating with a bachelor's degree in business marketing before signing with the St. Louis Rams in 2013.

Hall returned to Clemson University, where he received his MBA in 2016, and he is now Director of Career and Professional Development for Clemson Football at Clemson University.

The NFL advisory committee is the result of a partnership between the NFL and FBS/FCS Football programs across the country, and according to a NFL press release selected athletic administrators will "provide feedback on digital and in-person engagement opportunities, identify strategies to enhance college outreach and develop effective solutions to support the college football player pathway."

According to Clemson University Hall is one of seven selected athletic administrators:

  • Rashard Hall, Director of Career and Professional Development for Clemson Football at Clemson University
  • Dusty Bennett, Chief of Staff, Tennessee State University
  • Darien Harris, Director of Player Engagement, Michigan University
  • Tom Holmoe, Athletic Director, Brigham Young University
  • Edward Jones II, Assistant Athletic Director & Player Development at Baylor University
  • Ed Kull, Athletic Director, Fordham University
  • Kodi Look, Assistant Director of Football Operations from Oregon University

Hall has had great success on and off the field, but he also works hard on giving back to the community where he grew up. He is the founder of TOWAF - the Tarek Odom West Augustine Foundation, which helps students and entrepreneurs in underserved areas of his hometown. Together with Chaz McDowell, Ty're Simmons, Nigel McDowell and Ky're Simmons, he aims to provide opportunities and financial assistance to students and entrepreneurs through scholarships and help with computers and more.

This past weekend Hall was in town with TOWAF to host the Local Legends basketball game, which raises funds for students and entrepreneurs from West Augustine. The Foundation also gave away school supplies to students in need and gift cards to local teachers and students.
