St. Johns County School District Hires Staffing Agency to Help with Contact Tracing

Contact Tracing St. Johns County School District

The St. Johns County School District has hired a company to help with contact tracing in St. Johns County Schools according to News4Jax.

The contact tracing from the Florida Department of Health Department has been flawed with delayed parent notifications resulting in parents receiving quarantine notices on the day that the students were allowed to return to school.

The number of students and teachers testing positive for Covid-19 has escalated in the past few weeks, and parents have been fearful of sending their kids to school.

Maxim Healthcare Staffing Agency has now been hired to help with the contact tracing, you can see the St. Johns County Schools' contract to hire 6 nurses here.

As of Monday September 13th, there were 462 student testing positive Covid-19 tests, 72 teachers testing positive in the school district and 882 students were quarantined.
