West Augustine Pop-Up Market Spoil Her Because

The pop-up market is organized by Tyronda Myers, a local entrepreneur and the owner of Spoil Her Because, a mobile spa here in West Augustine. She was looking for a network of people in her business, and when she could not find one that she felt fit her business' profile, she decided to create one herself. "We definitely have a need for this in West Augustine. We have a need for this come-togetherness within the community from different walks. The diversity right within our own community, I think that it is a positive look, and I think that the small steps that we're taking with doing this event will make bigger outcomes later."

Myers explains how the pastor at the church has been supportive of the idea to create a West Augustine pop-up market, and she considers the church lawn to be the perfect location. "It is in the heart of our community. The Church of God in Christ is a very predominant church that's been here, and a lot of people know it. We felt that this church and this spot would be the perfect location to start our mission."
